Having a baby brings a lot of changes for dads and partners as well as new mums.

You may be worried about not getting enough sleep, how to be a good parent, money problems or changes in your relationship.

Some dads and partners can feel anxious or depressed during the pregnancy or after the birth.

It’s really important to talk to someone if you feel like you’re not coping well, or if you often feel stressed or even angry.

You are not alone in feeling this way, and there is non-judgmental support on hand to help.

You can talk to friends, family, your GP or health visitor. Your health visitor is there for you as well as your partner. Dads or partners are welcome and encouraged to be present at your health visitors visits.
